Ford Transit Connect

Transit Connect received the US government’s highest safety rating – a 5-star overall crash vehicle score. It features 6 standard airbags including the side-curtain airbags in its Safety Canopy System. A low step-in height provides easy access to stylish seats trimmed in leather, cloth, or vinyl. Rain-sensing windshield wipers help keep your view ahead clear. Power front- and 2nd-row windows feature a one-touch-up/-down functionality. There are cup-holders in every row (including 2 in the 2nd-row bench seat armrest), plus 2 smart-charging USB ports and three 12-volt PowerPoints to help keep your devices going. In the 2nd and 3rd rows, privacy glass and reclining seatbacks help passengers stay comfortable on every adventure. During any workday, several employees could be driving your Transit Connect. Which means different levels of driving expertise.

With that in mind, a wide range of technologies has been developed to help keep all drivers confident behind the wheel. And to manage your fleet, no matter how big your fleet is, a factory-installed telematics modem enables real-time connectivity while your employees are on the road. The available driver-activated Lane-Keeping System can alert you to unintentional lane drifting. Select either lane-keeping alert mode that vibrates the steering wheel when you drift too close to a lane marker or the lane-keeping aid mode that activates directional steering torque to help you guide your vehicle back into the lane. Or combine modes: if drifting continues after the steering torque is activated, the steering wheel adds the vibrating alert.

Ford Transit Custom

The Ford Transit custom

The Ford Transit Custom is a mid-sized, front-wheel-drive van. The 2.2L Diesel engine comes standard with up to 114Kw and a 6-speed Automatic or Manual Transmission. This is designed to provide a smooth and relaxing driving experience, especially in busy stop-start traffic. A meticulously tuned chassis, substantially stiffened in both front and rear axles, brings excellent levels of stability and control – and an optimized, ultra-stiff body structure.  It comes featured with pre-collision Assist that detects vehicles and pedestrians on the road ahead, or who could cross the vehicle’s path and warns you of their presence.

If you don’t respond, the system automatically applies the brakes. This technology is designed to help reduce the severity of accidents, help avoid them altogether, and function at speeds of up to 50 mph. This is coupled with a lane-keeping alert that keeps you focused on the road and prevents any unwanted lane drifting. The Transit also comes equipped with a rear-view camera and parking distance sensors so you don’t have to worry about any blind spots while reversing or parking. Its cornering light feature illuminates any hard-to-see corners while operating the transit, preventing blind turns and dark spots at night. A useful night-driving aid, Auto High Beam temporarily dips your headlights when it detects oncoming traffic or a vehicle ahead, preventing you from dazzling other drivers. It then automatically reverts back to high beam, giving you maximum visibility.

Ford E-Series

Ford E-Series

Featuring a brawny 305 horsepower capable engine that is housed in an ideal framework for your upfit. The Ford E-series is characterized by several models of the Cutaway specifically designed to fit all business needs. The 6.8L EFI Triton V10 Engine with 6-speed Automatic transmission is engineered to generate the raw power required for the heavy-duty hauling and towing applications typical of class 3-4 cutaway chassis. The engine is coupled with the Ford-built Torq shift which includes a selectable mode of tow/haul that automatically compensates for altitude, grade, and load conditions. On an uphill, it selects the gear that minimizes gear hunting; on downhill, it prevents upshifting and increase in speed, reducing reliance on brake pressure to slow down. With their full frame construction and standard V10 muscle, E-series models have an impressive towing capacity up to 10,000 lbs. Plus GCWRs from 13,000 lbs. (E-350) to 22,000 lbs. (E-450). Also, there’s an available factory-integrated trailer brake controller (TBC) that synchronizes the vehicle and trailer brakes for seamless operation. Trailers come in different lengths and widths. So it makes good sense to equip your vehicle with the available telescoping trailer tow mirrors that accommodate whatever type and size of trailer you’re towing. These mirrors come in either power or manual telescoping adjustment, and provide adjustable flat glass and a manual convex spotter mirror. The full frame construction provides a solid foundation for vehicle integrity. And for passenger protection, among safety features are front airbags for the driver and front passenger, four-wheel anti-lock brakes to help you maintain steering control and come to a straight stop, plus available Traction Control System when road conditions are less than ideal. E-series also comes with a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in single-rear-wheel models to help you make sure your tires are always inflated to their proper level. The more comfortably you work, the more productive – and profitable – you can be. That’s the idea behind the interior of the E-series build by Ford. The Slimline engine cover console offers convenient access to travel items as well as easy accessibility to the cargo area. The electronic message center provides useful vehicle information in one central display. And there’s available SYNC giving you voice-activated access to communication, entertainment and more.
